The MG 244 moist granulator made by Alexanderwerk lends itself to many different applications. Depending on the material and granulating cylinder, the throughput of the MG 244 can be as high as 2000 kg/hr.
The MG 244 is made completely of high quality stainless steel, and it is thus equally suited for use in the pharmaceutical industry, or in the natural resources or chemical industries.
- Dosing hopper of 50 litres for manual filling
- Dosing screw feeder including quick release coupling for easy removal or cleaning
- Transfer hopper with Teflon guards, adjustable in height
- Granulation head including pressure and granulation cylinders
- Bearing gland on front panel to receive the cylinder, readily removable
- Scraper inside the granulating cylinder
- Discharge chutes for granule or bypass material
- Drive housing to receive the rear bearing and drive elements
- Two gear trains for positive or negative friction settings (not applicable to optional variable friction adjustment)
- Removable clutch for quick change of the drive gears (not applicable to optional variable friction adjustment)
